Pleiad House

The Pleiad is an experimental low energy consumption dwelling place designed with the support of the Walloon Region and Electrabel in 1994 in the Bruyères district in Louvain-la-Neuve.

Living spaces promote natural light by lightwells, the development of the active and passive use of solar energy with the goal of assuring better thermal comfort and good air quality.  Architecture considers all of the environments; economic, physical, societal as well as climatic.

You will find all of the scientific and architectural information of the building at www-climat.arch.ucl.ac.be.
